Hi Richard...I'd rather just send out the shutter; I recently bought the camera from Todd, and everything else is as it should be. It doesn't need the expensive attention of a Rollei specialist, and I'd prefer to not have a non-specialist mess with Todd's collimation etc.
I took it off. The lensboard is not interconnected with anything on the camera, and is attached to the moving front of the camera by 4 large screws in plain sight around the taking lens. It is just like the lensboard of a view camera with the shutter held on by a retaining ring. --John
