Yes Eric, since the current lens name is identical regarding the newer AFM 35 lens I thought it could be the basis for the lens, but I was not sure and asked DHW directly. I have the Sonnar 2.8/40 diagram used for the Rollei 35 S and for the several Rollei 35 models made during the Rollei Fototechnik era up to about 2001, I'll scan it tonight or tomorrow for one of my blogs, this is the same lens DHW is using now. Rollei had a serious problem with the original CZ Sonnar prototype, they developed the camera prototype without to test the lens initially trusting in the CZ quality control and when the camera was almost ready for production, they tested it with the lens and found the Sonnar prototype performance was poor, the Tessar was better clearly even with the front element focusing system. This problem delayed 1 year the 35 S production, Rollei lost money very much and CZ needed to recalculate the lens while Rollei adapted parts again to focus the lens as a whole; after these changes the Sonnar performance became better than the Tessar.
