It's ironic that the "Six Million Dollar Man" is invariably *slower* than the rest of us. :-) It was good to bask for a few days in the mid 70's temperatures of San Diego. I was in pure tourist mode for the few days I was there, but shot only one roll of FP4+ in a Rolleiflex GX. http://www.400tx.com/2006-31.html I would get roasted on the LUG for posting an image like that. I *do* want to thanks the RUGer who reminded me that 120 roll film goes very nicely through metal detectors (I kept 8 rolls in my pockets). However, the TLR itself seemed to spook the people manning the X-ray machines. In four separate X-rayings of my carry-on luggage, three staff didn't know what it was (and searched the bag). One staff said "It's a Brownie" and let it go. It was overcast, which I prefer for taking photos in B&W. If I had seen someone with a Rollei, I was prepared to approach him and say "Are you Jerry or Don?" It wouldn't have been me at this point. I'm still in the middle of my conversion to a bionic man, but after my final surgery (knees) in December I will be very much out and about. At this point I don't walk much, just drive. You would probably have made a close guess, the only other person you might have seen down here using a Rollei that day would have been Slobodan, who lives about 99 miles from here.
