Ferdi et al:
I have three photographs from different angles about the
GX SN 4013411, it was made in April 1989 (1989 14th week) and it already
has the flash socket chrome ring. Your camera was made in February 1989
(week 8) and then it did not get the chrome ring for a few weeks or perhaps
it did not happen for a few days.

This is a ROLLEIFLEX FX- N, with a S-Apogon 2,8/80 (Planar) lens. This
camera, made by DHW, uses the FT focusing mechanism to get a closer
focusing distance without Rolleinars. The FX-N could be a success if it was
made in the '50s, '60s or even the '70s,but it came too late in the middle
of the digital era. This sample in Flickr has the SN 8016709, it was made
the last week of November 2013:

don't think you could complain to the factory about your GX features.
The chrome frame on the back was added from March 1991 and the chrome ring
around the flash socket was added in 1989, after the week 8 evidently...

... Mr Prochnow writes about this chrome ring: "Ab Anfang 1989 ...."
That means "From the start of 1989 ....." not "After week 8 ...." ;-)

Thanks again for your help.
