Hello Ferdi:
I have some photographs about GX and FX cameras serial
numbers. There is no a formal rule for these numbers. It looks like
"regular" GX and FX (those not included in "special editions") have normal
serial numbers, they are not coded numbers. Some earlier regular GX cameras
production have the serial number 4.0xx.xxx, however a later FX has the
serial number 2.000.001. A GX Rollei last version has the SN 8.xxx.xxx.
Other FX samples have SN like 7.xxx.xxx, 9.xxx.xxx. Some FX "special
edition"cameras have a lateral plate with the edition name and f.e. 1/100;
2/100; 3/100, etcetera. Last "special" FX cameras don´t have SN, they have
words on the plate name "Rolleiflex or they have nothing, others have a 7
digits number. It looks like the Serial Numbers system for the FX cameras
is the lack of it.....

Hi all,

I am familiar with the code for the serial numbers of the System 6000.
Carlos was kind enough to provide the information.

Has anyone got the code for the TLRs that was used for some 2.8 GX series
and the FX, etc? Carlos?

Thanks,
Ferdi.
