Carlos,In all my climbing days, I have never seen or experienced those "Coronal Winds"
before. That last picture is fantastic! Jerry On 12/1/2011 6:51 PM, CarlosMFreaza wrote:
Last week I traveled with one of my sons about 5000km by bus (by aircraft was complicated due to volcanic ash from the Pehuye volcano in Chile) to arrive and to return from my city to the Lanin volcano in the Patagonian Andes, Argentina- Chile border, our purpose was to climb the Lanin volcano, one of the nicest mountains in the south. We trained very hard along several months for the climbing. We reached the shelter at 2600m but couldn’t reach the summit due to terrific winds at the summit area, anyway it was a fantastic experience really.
