Subject: [rollei_list] Bay I filter+Hood will it vignette?

How weather-proof is an older Rolleiflex?

Would an MX-EVS type 2 be ruined if accidently exposed to a heavy rain?

Anyone reading ever get caught with his Rolleiflex exposed?

The bay 1 filter and hood does not vignette, I've used this combination many times. Of course you can check by looking back at the lens from the back of the camera at the corners of the film gate.
AFAIK, Rolleis are not weather proof. If it gets into a heavy rain its possible for water to get into it. I don't know of any cameras that are not specially made that are weather proof.
