The Leitz change of Velostigmat to Raptar occurred in
1951.

Maybe Leitz did that but Wollensak changed the trade name
much earlier, as I said 1946 or 47. This was about
coincident with Wollensak's introduction of vacuum lens
coating and the Rapax shutter. I am pretty sure that all
lenses branded Raptar are hard coated.
