lens was a coated Wollensack 3.5/83:

This is the site I was looking at. The brochure does confirm the lens is a Wollensak. I suspect the rest is also correct, that its a Triplet and not a Tessar. The Ciroflex also used a Wollensak lens of about 85mm. The cheaper models were certainly Triplets, I am not so sure of the faster lenses in the more expensive Ciro. When the Ansco camera came out it cost as much as a Rolleiflex!
