I think I paid under a thousand for the kit back then. The 10d in good to mint shape when you can find one still goes for some money. Of course, you can get Angenieux lenses for the Alpa as well and I believe that has perked some interest as well. For some reason most of the Alpa cameras I saw for sale when I was looking seem to be pretty beat up. I never pursued getting another and now due to digital, I am no longer interested in the 35mm format. These days I stick to 6x6 and larger. I dare not elaborate on this too much for fear of another mammoth film vs. digital discussion.

Thanks Rob,
The prices seem to have dropped these last few years, I'm thinking about
playing with one.
The best thing about digital cameras surely is that they have rendered
analogue equipment pretty worthless with a few exceptions.
Thanks,
Marvin.
