While attending Oregon State College (Corvallis) I used Clayton P60 developer, had it in a gallon jug, and a gallon of fixer. I noticed that my developer was getting very yellow and weak, so I filled the developer jug with the fixer, mixed new developer and put it in the fixer jug. The following week I noticed a couple of rolls of clear film in the garbage. I no longer had the problem of someone stealing my developer.
