Jan,
The non-AF version that you refer to is the 6008 Integral2. I have seen the AF
for sale but not the Integral2. It may be worth asking the factory if they have
any left.

Anyone using the 6008 AF with the AF Schneider lenses on this list? Just
re-read the (brief) Pop. Photography test of this camera.
There was also a non-AF version but with otherwise the same features including
the green LED panel in the VF. Anyone still selling these last two models new?

Hello John,
when I bought my Rolleiflex 6008 professional in 2010 it needed new NiCad
cells and a CLA. I have noticed that theses NiCad cells discharge in roughly
three months time. To be on the safe side, I fully charged the batteries
before a photo shooting and never lost a photo. In 2014 I bought a new NiMH
battery (1.25A 10V slow acting) and used it with my 6008 without any
problems. Therefore maybe the cause of your problem with the NiMH battery is
rather the camera and not the battery.
Best regards,
Volker
