Richard, focusing a 60ish mm lens on 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 is largely a function of loosely remembering the DOF table... at f/16 you are in
from 7 ft - inf and at f/22 5 ft - inf...

The problem with Speed or Crown Graphics with Kalart side rangefinders is that the RF is adjusted for only one FL lens. Other lenses can be focused on the ground glass but that precludes certain kinds of photography. On a 4x5 the lensboard is riding the inside part of the rail and the drop bed must be used so the rangefinder won't work even if it could be adjusted for such a short FL. This might work on a 2x3. I don't have a Pacemaker 2x3 so I don't know how it would work with a short FL lens. Normal for these cameras is either 102mm or 105mm, the diagonal being about 102mm so a 60mm lens is not that short, about equal to a 90mm on a 4x5. Has anyone here had experience with the rangefinder Mamiya or similar cameras? They look interesting for hand-held work and I see them occasionally at local camera sales. Lenses for other Mamiya cameras seem to be excellent so perhaps this is a sleeper.
