I'd like add two comments:

1)I did a test with my Rolleiflex 2.8C using true film
- a roll that I have for tests- and as I wrote you,
the shutter does not fire till you put the crank on
its second stop (on this position you can release the
shutter slightly pressing the crank against the stop
or folding down the crank), this happen from the frame
1 to 12.

2)According Prochnow (Rollei Report 1), when he
explains the film advance and simultaneous shutter
cocking mechanism development, the same mechanism
developed on thirties is used even for the GX, the GX
is identical to the FX except for cosmetics and
strap.-
