Hi Jan,
I (at least used to) go between UK, US, and Italy a few times a year. Security
has usually checked my film manually when I've requested it. There are a few
times that I've had that refused. On one of those instances, I was carrying
some 3200 film, but I never noticed issues with any of the negatives that
passed through a scan (x-ray or ct, I don't know).
