List:

1. The use of the organ varies from denomination to denomination. We are
beginning to see the resurgence of playing during prayer, calling for very soft
stops...

An easy solution for this is to use the Flute Celeste. The problem arises that
the organist wants the Soft 16' voiced low to use with the Flute Celeste.

This can be done, but as a result the soft 16' is then too soft for use with
any
other stop or combination of stops.

Having dealt with this twice, once porrly, the second time better, there are
two
solutions:

1. Voice the pedal the way this organist wants it but put the voicing on a
Smart
Card. As long as they wuthdraw the Smart Card when not in use, guest organists
will not compain about the weak 16'.

2. An even better solution, voice the Voice Palette pedal flute 16' hidden
behind the big Subbass 16' in the pedal very, very soft to match the Flute
Celeste, then save that combination on a general piston.

Then the Bourdon Doux 16' usually the soft one, remains where it belgons. To
play behind prayer just push the piston and the Voice Palette 16' is heard.

Also, if the really soft 16' is needed at any other toime, just push the soft
piston, then cancel...the soft 16' remains accessible to you by hand at the
position of the Subbass 16' until a piston is engaged that has the Subbass on
it.
