Rodgers has mastered the art....in some ways unfortunately because now
it is at the point where it is common for a pipe combination Rodgers to
work and fit together seamlessly...at this level it is quite difficult
and very taxing to figure out which is pipes and which is not.

A poor installation though stands out....merely because it does not
work.

I would harken back to the true story of the organ at Kirk in the Hills
in Michigan....when I was with Möller a new console was installed on the
organ and following some negotiations, Möller got the old console in
exchange for some english reeds from Walker...not the English Walker,
but Walker Technical....following the recital of reinstallation, a
number of AGO members were heard in the foyer of the church:

"Did'ja hear those reeds.  They sure weren't Möller reeds.  Pipework
that good had to have come from England..."
