Dr. Schreiner's reigistration for this piece (played at the conclusion of
every choir broadcast) was:
CHOIR - 8' Concert Flute, 4' Zauberflote, Tremulant, Choir 16' and 4'
couplers
SWELL (accomp) - 8' Voix Celeste , 8' Flute Celeste, Tremulant
PEDAL- 16' Lieblich Gedeckt, 16' Gemshorn, 8' Gemshorn
He would occasionally "pad" this registration by adding the Swell 4' coupler
and the Swell Vox Humana (which was very soft). On Don Harrison's
Aeolian-Skinners, the celestes were almost always gang-wired so that the main
rank always
came on along with the celeste rank, so that pulling the Voix Celeste knob
would automatically activate the main rank (Salicional or Viole da Gamba)
without having to pull that knob too... same for the Flute Celeste (Flauto
Dolce 8'
came on with the celeste knob).
