Kirk was wondering about drum patterns--
This is a subject we haven't covered at all in the past. I know that Cakewalk
has a built-in rhythm generator (Jim Chisolm may have some input here, though
his church has the full set
playing live all the time) and Lauren discovered a rhythm generator plug-in for
Finale, that uses Open Music in the Mac, which I an checking out.
I had a disk of rhythms that crashed before I got it uploaded...
Kirk, we have members who play in churches that have full orchestras and so on.
What instruments do you have at the church? We have at least one other A.M.E.
church represented on the
list....we want to know more.
I don't know how many of you have heard Dan Miller wail using the Mixtures with
trem's running on Gospel, but it is cool. After all those lessons where we
were told never to use trem's
with the mixtures and now Dan's making it ok!
