Controversial postings - why do I permit them to be posted?
This list is run from the USA, where Free Speech rules. Those from other
countries may find this unacceptable, but that's the way it is.
Do they hurt business?
Definitely not.
Rumors abound, especially when they go unanswered. And they can hurt a company.
The most damaging rumors have a bit of truth in them, which makes them
plausible.
Isn’t it more important to know what people are thinking and saying than going
around with your head buried in the sand?
While Rodgers was owned by Roland the factory and management never, ever,
attempted to influence or control what was posted on the list.
I remind all that I hove offered to sell this list to Rodgers quite a few times
as well to Roland while under pressure from dealers. The response from upper
management was that they were happy to leave it as it is, an open forum.
