On Saturday evening I played for a wedding in our Sanctuary on our 1930
Hinners / Rodgers 835. I noticed a lady in the congregation kept smiling
at me during the service.

After the ceremony she came up to me and introduced herself. She was a
music graduate who plays the organ and is from Maine. She kept saying "I am
so surprised at what I heard. I never dreamed I'd find this in a small
town!" She was referring to the sanctuary, the organ and the music. She
kept saying "I just can't believe it!" I asked her what she thought of the
organ and she told me she could not believe we had such a large instrument
in such a small town.
I asked "You really want to know about the organ?" I proceeded to tell her
it was ONLY 12 ranks of "real" pipes "married" to a Rodgers 835. She was
FLOORED!! She didn't know what to say! She replied they did such a
beautiful job matching the pipes with the digital and agreed you CANNOT tell
the difference. I had a chance to advertise for Rodgers and took advantage
of it! I told her "other companies" claim they can voice digital ranks, but
Rodgers is the only ones who REALLY can! I plan to find out who she is
from the Bride's mother and send her some Rodgers material.

She asked who we got the organ from and I told! Thanks Chapel Music, and to
all the folks who have voiced, re-voiced and re-voiced and re-voiced my
organ over the past 5 years.
IT'S PERFECT NOW!!! You all know who you are, so THANKS!!! This is one
PROUD Rodgers player!

If you're ever in Georgia, come see me and the grand old Hinners at West
Point!
