Lauren Gadd tends to rein me in when we are creating projects, but
during the past two weeks I have been flooded in twice (which explains
the flat-bottomed boat the former owner had in his yard sale) and got
carried away.

When we created The Sampler, we anticipated each piece would represent a
book we would write, and all but one of that series are finished. The
second to last one, Duets has become three books!

While working on the Piano & Organ Duets I came across one of the Soler
Concerti for two organs, often performed on organ and harpsichord. That
gave me the idea to take Bach Arias and set them for two keyboards - or
Organ and PR-300. In two days time I have ten of them done and they
became their own book.

Back at work on the original Duets book, I wrote the beginning of a
piece, sent it to Lauren with a message saying "Tag, you're it!" and she
wrote the middle, then we collaborated on the end. our first such
venture, Prelude in d'Moll.

Doing a calculation the Duet book went way over 100 pages, so we split
it into two, one of classical pieces and one of hymn tune pieces.

All three of these books are set up so that you can play them live as
duets between any two keyboard instruments. For performance when you do
not have a duets partner, all have MIDI files that play the Primo part
either on Piano or Harpsichord. Some have additional orchestration.

Some also are set up so that they will play on the Swell or Great of the
organ while you play on the other manual, giving you total stop control
of the instrument.

Thanks for taking time to read all of this. We hope you enjoy the music.
Remember, we guarantee satisfaction, so if you are not satisfied in
any way, you get all your money back. You are not buying a pig in a
poke. Which relates to the sermon at church today where I was at, the
Prodigal Son from the pigs viewpoint.
