We absolutely should of sent out a message. After a night with gusts up
over 40 mph and a local forecast for more of the same it was decided by the
Board to call it off.
Going forward we will make sure an announcement via social media and chat
goes out when this situation happens. I will take responsibility for
dropping the ball. I do apologize to everyone for the inconvenience it may
have caused.

Was there any message sent out yesterday morning when it was decided to
cancel the day? I checked in the morning before I left and there was no
email, and by the time I got there around 9 (after a 2 hour drive) everyone
was packing up or gone. Maybe for the future we can discuss some kind of
alert system when things like this happen?
