have not contacted Mr. Hemphill nor have I ever spoken with him in the
past. I do agree it would be an advantage to know how the plans have been
updated. However, our opinion on the development will not change either way.

I will stand with whatever other members feel is the best course of
action, but I think we SHOULD meet with Hemphill just to determine what
he's going to pitch to the County Commission, because he surely will. If we
know in advance what he will propose we could provide a better counterpoint
to his modified proposal. Just my thoughts, and again, I will agree with
whatever Subd. decides.

The Hall County Planning Commission voted 4-1 to deny his proposal.
Sounds like he is trying to win over Riverwalk and get our support in order
to move forward. Very doubtful he can win me over if he still wants to
build on that lot.

County Commission has final say on the matter. There have been instances
where the Commission gave approval AGAINST the recommendation of the
Planning Commission when they voted for denial 4-0. I'm sure Mr. Hemphilll

he's already invested a considerable amount of money on this project and he
