Typo “achieving our desired outcome”
BTW, I don’t recall if this was on the community thread, however, David Bonds has graciously agreed to step up on overseeing the pool area and maintenance, previously covered by the Blalock’s. Thank you David for stepping up and taking on this task. So much more gets done when everyone chips in just a little so thank you to everyone else who has stepped up over the last year in helping me and Riverwalk as a whole.
Thank you Will & Donna for all the years of always taking great care of the Pool area, making it an enjoyable space for all of us to use for our family. On behalf of Riverwalk, I wish you guys the best of luck and hope you’ll stay in touch. You’ve been great neighbors and a huge help to me over the years.

Mr. Piper,
To date, Mr. Hemphill has not submitted a request to withdraw his application. The item is scheduled to be heard by the Board of Commissioners on April 13th. He cannot change his whole request, he could ask that they allow the self-storage but no boat and RV storage or that he be allowed to reduce the number of structures. Proposing an entirely different use would require a new application and hearing by the Planning Commission. He can submit a revised site plan at the meeting but this will generally result in the item being tabled to allow time for the applicable departments to review it and provide comments for the Board. Obviously the Board could choose to approve it without those comments but it is unusual.

Dear Randi, David, Ellis, and Anael,
I am writing to express my gratitude for your hard work and dedication in reviewing Mr. Hemphill's request for rezoning and variances to allow a storage facility at 4916 Cleveland Highway. The Planning Board's decision to deny the request was greatly appreciated.
I am writing to inquire whether Mr. Hemphill has made any motion to withdraw his request at this time. While it is his right to take the request to the commission, it is important to note that he can expect strong opposition to continue.
Furthermore, if Mr. Hemphill does take the request to the Board of Commissioners, considering that the request was denied, does he have to keep the request as originally submitted? I am seeking clarification on how the process works regarding any changes he
seeks to make now that he has been denied.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Joe Piper

<image001.jpg>Good morning Hall County Planning Team,
Your reviewing the application with some affected parties, including my dad, is appreciated. Also, thanks for your hard work as I know you're often caught in the middle of differing viewpoints.
Please find attached a document that specifically outlines safety issues associated with the request to rezone 4916 Cleveland Highway for storage as well as a copy of the letter sent to Planning Board members. The letter also refers to applicant's desire to deviate from Gateway Corridor requirements thus negatively impacting the North Hall Community.
Can you please submit the attachment for the record associated with Monday's planning board meeting as I've had difficulty submitting it via the form?
Thank you,
