I agree.  Though I would still recommend a networked colour laser that
will accept postscript: there is then no problem of printer drivers.

An additional nail in the coffin of Uniprint is that the OP's spec
required that the Apple machine be able to use the printer.  I can't see
anything on R-Comp's site that says you can use a Macinstosh in this
way.
