Ok,

I reverted to RISC OS 4.02 on another machine, Printers 1.64a,
GPDriver 2.04 and S800 from PrintersG. This does print out on my
machine.

Next thing to check is the following:

Go in to printers and alter the destination to file and drag the
"Printout" icon to your hard disc and then print a line of text.

Load the "PrintOut" file in to a text editor and you should see
something like this at the start:

[K BJLSTART
ControlMode=Common
AckTime=Short
BJLEND
[K

If you don't then for some reason you have still perhaps got the
Gutenprint 2.02 loaded or being seen and not 2.04.

One other thing make sure that in the filer options you have got
"Force" and "Newer" set by clicking menu in a directory and going down
to Options. Reinsatll 2.04 over your GP2Driver or better still delete
it and put it back in again if you are unsure.

Thanks

Doug
