I never was a big fan of Hank Lee's "Magic Factory." I thought his items were overpriced, and the product descriptions were "over-hyped"- e.g. I'd order something from there and when it finally arrived the "gimic" seemed very flimsy or minimal or unsubstantial even though I had paid a good price for it with shipping. My guess is Hank Lee's victim is Richard Garriott, an very wealthy video game developer and space tourist, who has magic as his hobby and appeared on the cover of the January, 2008 issue of MUM. "Hank Lee" (Harry Levy) the magic dealer has already pled guilty and will have to pay restitution (over $561,927+?) and faces jail time up to 20 years (but prosecutors will seek a sentence at the "low end of sentencing guidelines" the article states). Still sad, have no idea if the business will keep going or who will buy there. I am sure all the magic magazines will miss his monthly full page ads.
