Hi all,

i've just released Rex 0.40.0. This release brings a CMDB interface to Rex.
So is is possible to separate configuration data from configuration logic.

This year we're trying to get a booth on the LinuxTag [1] for Rex. If you
want to join us for a day or more feel free to contact me at jan.gehring
[at] gmail.com.

From the website [1]:
LinuxTag is the most important place for Linux and open source software in
Europe. The 19th LinuxTag will take place on 22. - 25. May 2013 - for
the seventh time at the Berlin Fairgrounds - and presents all the latest
news and information for professional users, decision makers, developers,
beginners and of course, the Linux community.

These are the changes (for a detailed list with examples see [2]):

  * common/extentible cmdb interface
  * basic cmdb via YAML #107
  * added default environment "default"
  * added ini style groups #99 - Franky Van Liedekerke
  * VirtualBox Headless mode #105
  * sudo without locales and password #98 - Dominik Schulz
  * export update_system sub - Ferenc Erki
  * fixing regex which gets name interfaces - Fran Rodriguez
  * fixed dmidecode on openbsd
