This is very good – thank you all for knowing how to do all this and getting it
done!
The invalid data (excluding the Duplicate valid names) for 001-100 (plus a few
extra that Vic (?) added afterwards on Thursday) are saved on Annette’s laptop
in an Excel file called MEFI_NR.xls on the Desktop.
If the remainder are entered by Ashley’s volunteers I’m wondering if we need to
ask them to keep and send us a file of invalids (not just merge them with
valids) so that we can target the Invalids specifically for registration. (Is
that postcard mailings? – We’d only have their mailing address.)
If we need more manpower to extract Invalids (especially with some local
knowledge for the addresses) I could make some time over the next couple of
weeks – let me know.

Subject: Re: Petitions Scanned Thus Far
Great news! Thank you, Leslie!!! I'll check them over after Todd gets them
uploaded. No, I don't need the boxes back at all - one is, in fact, from
County Elections, and the other is quite extra. If Zach doesn't want to keep
the petitions in them for the trip to Boise, they're anybody's that wants them.
I'll be at home later Todd so I'll look for the uploads and check these final
files. You'll see the labels change to "Bonneville XXX-XXX" when that's done,
and that will be our signal that ALL SCANNING COMPLETE. Yayyyyy.
Then on to the other tasks that Melanie so very nicely listed out for us. In
my case, that will also include:
(1) sending the final log of Bonneville petitions to Ashley, cc Garrett;
(2) entering the 630+ FieldWorks petition data into Garrett's statewide tally
sheet (all of ours plus those collected by other county teams are already in);
(3) entering the Jefferson petitions that we logged and scanned last Thursday
into that statewide tally;
That will conclude my main petitions tabulation work! Then there's the less
demanding, semi-fun activities like pulling data on who collected how many, the
names of all who collected signatures, etc.
One BIG remaining TASK: figure out the "how, when, and who" on entering the
invalid name-address data from petitions 101-1278. I'm hoping we will find out
from Ashley after July 6th that she has volunteers ready to do this quickly, so
as to get those names merged with registered voters on the lists from the Sec
of State, and put into MiniVAN / VoteBuilder. But if not... we'll come up with
a way to parcel out the work locally here.
Can anybody send me the file of data from petitions 0001-0100 that Bob Goetsch
and others typed in on Annette's (I think?) laptop last Thursday?
