Thurs eve – will give an updated summary of the thing I put together for EICAP
- Will be in Poky all day so will have to wing it! Will aim for getting ideas &
contact list, encourage volunteers & spreading info & literature when we have
it!

Yes I think we’ve met at some marches here, also I’ve stopped by at First
Presbyterian for distributing flyers for the Medicaid kickoff event we had, and
the progressive dinner a number of times.
Thank you very much for inviting me to your meeting – I can come at 7 tomorrow
(Thursday) and would be very glad to give a short informal intro about the
campaign as we are keen to spread awareness about this important issue that we
are expecting to be able to vote on in November. It would be very good to build
on links in the community so that we can hear different perspectives on this
and also be able to make a contact list for sending out information and updates
and for inviting volunteers to help support the campaign. It is still a
grassroots effort and we need to widen the campaign to reach people through
sharing personal experiences, door knocking, talks with groups, writing to the
local media, and personally encouraging people to vote for Medicaid Expansion
in Idaho. After the petition phase, we are just beginning to put this next
stage together! It will be very helpful to hear comments and suggestions from
the Interfaith Council.
