Yes indeed, it is control-insert-numpad plus

YOu move the mouse by delta values you can configure these but it defaults to 5 pixels at a time with control-shift-numpad 4 to go left, 6 to go right, 2 to go down, and 8 to go up.

Thanks Roy.

I thought it might be around there, I did try clicking on the numbers but it makes sense to go under them, I'll see what happens.

I use jaws,
but tend to do more of my exploration type things with window-eyes, but in this regard, jaws may be better.

Warmest regards.

try clicking underneath the ruler , around the measure numbers where the clip actually plays e.g if it plays from bar 5 to bar 20 , place the Jaws cursor on one of the bar numbers in this range on the time ruler. then , move down maybe 15 or 20 pixels with the Alt+Down arrow key; next , lock the left mouse button and move a bit to the left or right with Alt+Shift+Left/Right arrows.
see if this helps

good luck with the learning of vb script , and feel free to ask any questions

Yeh, I did that, and yes I knew about the alt enter properties thing, just wanted to see if I could drag clips around like a sighted person, how easy that would be.

I've found most of the graphics on the sonar screen,
and can do most everything even without scripts, but getting to that clips pane, getting focus on it is tricky, I just need to find the magic spot to click on.

Yes, I have reaper installed, I need to get busy and really learn it,
and I also need to install x1 and get my feet wet with it too, but I've been actually making more music lately than teching, also trying to get my programming skills to the next level past autohot and hsc, actually learning some vb script,
and for me, that's a huge step 'grin'.

Ah yes, variables and expressions and constants, and properties and methods, and lions and tigers and bears oh my 'grin'.

did you try naximizing the track strip? another way is simply to select the track and time range , then press Alt+Enter to go to the clip properties.
amazing! , reaper is so accessible and easy in this regard.

Roy.

Interesting, the keystroke actually worked this time, but even though I know for sure I was on a clip, it still said no clips found.

Go figure.

if it says "no clips found" move the now time to the area in the song where the clip should actually play.

Hey Roiy,
where do we click or how do we get to the clips pane in the first place?

after going to the clips pane and centering the cursor , lock the left mouse button with JawsKey+numpad slash </>; now try using the mouse movement keys (Alt+Shift+left/right arrows) and see if it actually performs the scrubbing.
press Jawskey+Numpad slash again to unlock the left mouse button.
hope this helps
Roy.

There's a JSonar keystroke for getting into the clips pane. Can't think
what it is off the top of my head though.

Hi all:

I'm using jsonar with sonar 8.5 on win7 32 bit. But when I start scrubbing, after removing some small notes, I had an error, and sonar
asked me to make a recovery.

I made a restart and the same issue. So why is this, and is it from my
ram? Or my windows or what?
Any help will be highly abbreciated.
