I had this occur when I deleted some music files on the Itunes/computer side and then tried to sync. What I finally did that worked was to unsync all my music, sync the Ipod again without the music, then re-check the box in iTunes that says sync music. Then sync the Ipod again. For some reason, clerning out the cache and then re-adding it seems to do the trick.
