There will be people lined up outside Apple stores for a week, just to
hand over their money, to them, it doesn't matter how much.
I haven't encountered this for a few years, but there used to be a few
people who had an IPhone and it was who they are. The phone was so
expensive for them that they have the cheapest data plan their carrier
offers, because now they can't afford to use their phone, but hey, its
an IPhone and they are part of the club.

So what are everyone's plans if the iPhone 8 and above begin to cost
consumers $1000 or more? That's the predicted price of an iPhone 8, according
to CNN. My thought is that few people will be willing to pay those prices.
I'm not sure, if indeed this is true, why Apple would think that the market
would be there for such an expensive phone. A MAC--absolutely. But a
phone?????
