All good points, and we all need to do what works best for us. I work with a
lot of people who use those larger phones and I am always so happy to get my
little Essie back into my hands when they are gone. It is so much nicer to hold
and I type so much more efficiently on the smaller phone. like Redge, if a new
larger phone has amazingly superior features such as those he described, I
might be tempted, but not otherwise.

The SE speakers are not loud enough, I am not happy about the speakers.
And, the camera is not nearly as good as the seven plus, so sorry, I must
respectfully disagree.
Both me and Captain Kirk!
I don't care what it takes or costs!

Ditto ditto ditto, 1 million times over!
Sheila who does love her SE and noticed an update last night to 10.3, which she
successfully made happen

Rumors are just rumors. The SE is less than a year old and a great phone that
can be found with 32gb for under $200. Apple will continue to update it and
will not abandon that market. I guarantee it. Cutting edge Features that would
make me consider upgrading would include stereo microphones?, multiple cameras
for mapping indoor spaces in 3D for indoor navigation, and wireless charging. I
hardly use my computer any more.

In the words of Captain Kirk, from the Startrek original series episode
called Operation, annihilate, comes the following quote:
I don't care what it takes or costs!
I agree, Captain!

So what are everyone's plans if the iPhone 8 and above begin to cost
consumers $1000 or more? That's the predicted price of an iPhone 8, according
to CNN. My thought is that few people will be willing to pay those prices.
I'm not sure, if indeed this is true, why Apple would think that the market
would be there for such an expensive phone. A MAC--absolutely. But a
phone?????
Thoughts???
