I know what you are meaning here, but I resent the use of the tern native Americans when referring to the Indians. I am a native American, not an Indian. I was born here and all my ancestors for several generations. Indians may not be the best name for them but they are no more native American than I am. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Lynn" <freespirit52@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Mikes Other Mess" <Mikesmess2@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; "Missouri List" <missouri-l@xxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 26, 2006 8:51 PM Subject: [real-eyes] native Americans wanted We at Books & Beyond are planning to do a show about native American culture and issues, and we would like to invite anyone who might have something to contribute to the discussion to write to me at freespirit52@xxxxxxxxxxxx We'd like to have them on the show, which is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
