What do you mean by a two finger double tap?

When I initiate a call, I will usually do a 3 finger double tap when
the speaker is engaged to mute Voiceover so that it does not start
chattering during a call.

Also, You should have good luck ending a call with a 2 finger double tap.
Hope this helps.
