Is it telling you why the file cannot be sent? If it is too large, then
another compression method may not work either.

Here is how I compress a file or set of files.

1) Select the file or files.

2) Open the context menu and go to Send To.

3) Choose Compressed/zip folder and press ENTER.

4) If prompted, give a name that you want to use and press ENTER.

This "should" create a zipped folder that people can easily open. How the size
will compare to the method you're using now is anybody's guess.

Good luck!

Subject: [real-eyes] compressing and emailing files

Question: I have an audiobook I've recorded for Unity that I need to
compress and email to several people who requested it. What i'm doing isn't
working:

1. Highlight the audiobook file (.mp3 format), hit applications, arrow down to
compress and email, hit enter, type in email address, tab to message body, hit
alt S to send in MS Outlook. I get a message back saying the file cannot be
sent. Is there another way to compress a .rar or .zip file and then email it?

Thanks,

Kim
