After listening to The New Screen Savers live last night I decided to
find an episode of its original show, The Screen Savers. The show was on
Tech TV and hung around for awhile after the network changed its name to G4.
Here is the episode I watched last night of The Screen Savers. Its from
September 9, 2002.
Its funny to hear them talk about the XP service pack 1 update being a
whopping 130 megabytes and how that took a long time to download on dial-up.
Also in this episode is a great interview with Ray Kurzweil about the
technology involved in bringing artificial intelligence beings to life
in a movie.
