1. Where do I find "My Computer" and "my documents" equivalent to
access/add files like I did with XP?
Hello. You should be able to tap the Windows key, type in Documents, it should
be the first result. If you press enter on that, it should take you right to
your documents folder. Also, you may try typing in Computer into the Windows 7
Search Box, and this will hopefully bring up Computer, which should give you
access to the C drive.
Alternatively, you can type the Windows Key and E and get direct access to
Windows Explorer.
2. How do I change setting so that .rtf files will always open in
Word Pad instead of Microsoft Word Viewer?
Select an RTF file. Use the applications key to arrow down and see if there is
an option for Open With. If you enter on that, you should see a list of
compatible programs that will open the Word file, and hopefully, there will be
acheckbox to Always use this program. I hope this is still in Windows 7.
3. How do I log into GMail from Google Chrom? I can enter email
address, but the password field doesn't appear to be accessible?
Jaws 13 will not support Google Chrome.
4. Is latest Thunderbird accessible? It is my new email client for work and
I can’t figure out how to read emails.
Again, Jaws 13 is less likely to work with more contemporary versions of most
programs, unfortunately, it may be highly problematic to have Jaws 13 work well
with Thunderbird.
