Ted,
It sounds like you have inadvertently changed the font size in your spreadsheet.

The default font size is 11 point, which results in the exact same
situation that you describe.
You should be able to fix it by selecting your entire spreadsheet,
pressing Control 1 for the format menu, then pressing Control Tab to
focus to the Font Tab of the dialog, then tabbing a couple of times
until you reach the point where you can adjust the font size.
Enlarging the font should allow you to use Page Up and Page down as
before, but you may need to try several font sizes to achieve the
results you want.
