Okay, a couple of questions here: 1. How much are Ipads currently? How much is the external doc and whatever else Apple can sell me to make presentations more lively? And most importantly: How blind-accessible is the presentation interface? I've found Power Point to be very marginal so far as total accessibility is concerned. Kim Kimberly A. As to your question about presentations on the iPad, yes, when you use the Presentations app, and have the iPad external dock which supports USB camera, microphone/headset, and yes, HTMI video, Powerpoint like presentations spring to life with a brilliant life-like clarity in high def video. -----Original Message----- From: Kimberly A. I'm so totally addicted to my Ipod Touch. I have six pages of apps installed and wonder how many more I can install before the thing runs out of memory! Kimberly A. Never has there been a a more satisfying solution for surfing the web and reading email. It's like holding the Internet in your hands. And, what they say is 100% correct, you already know how to use it. -----Original Message----- From: Reginald George [mailto:sgeorge@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2010 11:48 AM To: real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [real-eyes] Re: Cheap Cheap Netbook from Blind Bargains Today It's a possibility I suppose. Better for students and those who travel around with their laptops. Mom's don't usually like netbooks due to the smaller keyboard and small screen. Wouldn't she like a nice desktop with a 42 inch flat screen monitor? Smile. ZCloud is still out there for $10 a month or so, but you can get ATT DSL for only $20. The experience is so much better that she should really spend the money on some type of broadband connection. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrea Breier" <abreier@xxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2010 11:08 AM Subject: [real-eyes] Re: Cheap Cheap Netbook from Blind Bargains Today Wouldn't this be a good option for my Mom?
