The easy way is to search by voice. Just hold the Alexa button on the
remote and say Listen to Nora Jones or play Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson.

If you wanted to, you use the remote to choose a letter at a time. About
half of the alphabet is on one row, the rest another row and a row of
numbers space backspace on the bottom.

I usually search by a voice command or browse around with the remote to
what I want to watch or listen to.

There is an update rolling out to Fire TV that allows you to use an Echo
or Echo Dot to search for and control playback on the Fire TV.

Thanks Steve, for this very nicely done demo!
Now, when you are doing a search, are you having to use an on-screen
keyboard, or must you manipulate the voice view cursor with the remote to
select from a grid of letters that you can then choose?
This is how Apple TV works, at least the third generation, so I was just
curious as to how you search for a program or a song in Amazon Prime Music.
Thanks.

Subject: [real-eyes] Brief Demo Fire TV

I created a brief demonstration of the accessibility of Fire TV along
with its Netflix app and Amazon Music.
Its nothing fancy or edited but if you are interested here's a drop box
link to the mp3 file.
