1.   Thank you to Ben and Tom for being the driving forces behind
Midlothian Days. There is room for more to participate.
Ben informed me this AM that since we will be inside Midlothian Middle
School, a minimum of a surgical mask or multiple layer cloth mask is
required. Gators, kerchiefs and bandanas will not be allowed.

Tom will pick up the small power cart on Friday…..so, DCS and TMCC/Legacy
will be available. The curves on the 6x11 are O54.
Saturday AM set up at Midlothian Middle School is 0700…..Take down is
1500.

2.   Ken and I met at the store this AM to assess the ballasting needs and
we made a good start.  Friday at 10AM we are hosting a ballasting party.
Anyone who wants to help is welcome. Bring a 1” paintbrush, if you have one
(see below). Ballasting will close the big layout down for about a week.
Please let me know if you are coming.

3.   Remember, our next meeting will be November 13th……I am hoping we can
have an Open house for the public 11-3PM that day…..it will be a good
“dress rehearsal” for the Nov 20-21 VTC Show.
We should have the By-Laws ready for approval at that time.

4.   THE NEXT ITEM IS A BIG DEAL……..we need to know who will be available
for the Science Museum of VA show (Nov 26-28) and the Great Big Greenhouse,
roughly, Nov 29-Jan 15.
This is mostly for people who joined us in the spring but haven’t been
around much. *I don’t want any specifics like dates/times etc*…..I just
want to know if we can count on you.  We have to know what our pool of
runners will be.

5.   Harold…..are you getting the emails from the list in addition to the
separate email address or, are you still just getting them via personal
email?
