Everything is a go!
Announcing the first annual train day at the Ettrick-Matoca library, 4501
river road, south chesterfield, va 23803
We will be participating by running the 6x11 layout on Saturday may 20th,
10a.m. To 3p.m. We should be able to set up around 8am, or possibly the
night before. We have the premium set up spot inside the main library lobby!
There will be other layouts & train displays, the singing conductor will be
there (he was at Ashland Train days!). Also food vendors /trucks and the
kiddie train rides just like at the science museum. There will also be a
trolley to take people to other locations at Ettrick park & another to be
announced later.
So if you would like to participate please let me know.

This should be a fun event catering to kids; family & all train enthusiasts,
let's help the library make this an great annual event, next year they'd
like to time it with the arrival of the 611 to the Petersburg rail station!
Let's make this an epic event 🎉🛤🚂 party with the trains.
