Dateline....GREAT BIG GREENHOUSE
Bob B informed me that there is spare track under our layout. Good news - I
found it. Bad news - I tore the outside wire loose from the track connector
and it will need to be re- soldered.

I was going to spike all 3 of the rails on the 10” piece of outside track on
the bridge, next to the hinge. That section sticks up a bunch. Part of the
height is due to the track being separated from the ties and some of it is
due to the bed’s being shimmed at that end. I called Tom and he thinks it
may be easier to just replace that piece of track. He will stop by the
trailer when he gets a chance to get a piece of track and replace it.
Tom, let me know what else I can do to help. I’m around till about 4 today.

Thanks, Peter.
If you would, just put it in the cash box. That should be inside the big
black box. The combo is "611". I'll swing by later today to pick it up.
There is a scheduling meeting tomorrow and I'll be seeing Dexter then.

Dexter: I left $30 in ones in the box, $78 is banded together in the box

We had 6 kids to run trains. We were short handed, thank you John & Peter
for staying late and helping.
Second request , we need 5 people for kids run trains days, in case
someone doesn’t show or is late or has to leave early.
A schedule should be emailed weekly (for changes & reminders) and posted
in a conspicuous place inside the layout for everyone to check... and
current phone numbers for members, preferably on the schedule so we can
call them, see ketones people don’t realize there on the schedule.
We had a short problem, maybe a fried tiu in the earlier session, Peter
changed it but a short persisted going to the outside mainline. Rick found
a screw lodged in the switch leading to the outside rail, near the
bathroom for reference. Thanks Rick.
The outside rail on the geezer gorge needs to be re-spiked, bridge was
dropped as we were loading to leave.
It was up and one of our kids that ran trains knocked it down.
