Ben, If this is going to be a project taken on by the 5, and not involve club
funds, I apologize for sticking my nose into this. While discussion of the
general plan should benefit the end result, if you guys are funding it, you
have the final say. Thank you, and carry on. John -----Original Message-----

Subject: [rc3r] Station Module
I just wanted to get thing straight. There are 5 of us working on this Module
layout. We have had multiple meetings and have come up with what we are going
to do. Peter Condro was gracious enough to do the track layout for us. The
module will be 18 feet long, three 6 foot modules. The 3 new modules will be 4
feet wide. We will include the 6 foot modules I already have to make the total
module layout a little over 6 feet wide. There will be a large loop with
switches so a train can get from the inside loop of the main layout onto our
outside loop. They will be able to get back on to the main layout. We will
have a small loop that will be our subway. Part of this lower module will be
covered. The switches will not be covered. We will have access to the two
loops incase of a derailment. The one side of the module, about 4 by 6 will be
a carnival/circus. The upper level will have the Train Station and other
buildings. A Trolley will run on that upper level. There will be another 6
foot module built for Peter's side. Peter will take care of the landscaping
for that module. We plan on starting this next month. With 5 people, we feel
we can be ready by the Science Museum. One more thing. I think the club should
rethink the Hanger for working on the clubs modules.
Thanks,Ben
