A club meeting was held yesterday morning at the home of Peter Condro. Present
were:
Peter Condro, Gary Gunuskey, Jack Bantle, Bob Bueller, Ken Young, Ben Swann,
Bill Robertson, Tom Gilsdorf.
RC3R was awarded runner-up for the 2017 Blue Comet Award. It will be presented
@ York 10/20.
The balance of the club account has grown from $6827.78 (2016) to $7759.17
(2017)
The storage fee for the trailer is due in the month of October.
We have received a check for the Goddard School. I am currently in possession
of it.
Upcoming displays:
Midlothian Days 10/21 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Setup @ 7:00 AM.
We will be displaying the small layout, raffle layout, and Halloween layout.
Bill, Tom, Gary and his grandsons will run. Ben for setup.
Trunk-or-Treat All welcome. The RC3R banner will be displayed.
10/27 Wave Church (Glen Allen) 7:00PM - 9:00 PM
10/28 River Road Church, Baptist 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

WE MUST HAVE ALL MODULES AVAILABLE FOR SETUP. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO BE THERE FOR
SETUP, PLEASE MAKE SURE ANOTHER CLUB MEMBER HAS YOUR MODULE WITH THEM. THIS IS
CRITICAL.

store closes @ 8:00 PM. After Christmas, closes @ 6:00 PM
12/2 10:00 AM - ?? All club members invited to attend. Especially new members
so you can learn how to operate the layout.
12/16-17 Classic Train Days. Public "Run Whatcha Brung"
2018 plans include expanding and revamping the small layout. Three additional
modules will allow a "L" configuration. The layout will be scalable with 4
possible configurations. Overall size 15.3'x12'. Jack Bantle suggested buying
another small trailer dedicated for the small layout. This would allow anyone
to pull it.
