Hi Tom
Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
Are you going to be running trains at the GBGH tomorrow for a Thursday Farmers
Market? If so, what are the times?

I had not considered this, but it looks like a good idea for the programming
track on the 42" power cabinet. We can use a DCS Remote Commander connected
to a powered section of track (passive mode) to generate the DCS signal. It
can be used for programming. This will save us from using a dedicated TIU for
the same function.
Russell, can you still get these from MTH (50-1033)? If so what would please
advise the price. I have one and will test the concept here before we order
anything. Price is <$60 so moneywise it's a more cost effective, and has a
smaller footprint than a second TIU.
There are several items still to purchase for the new large cabinet. AFTER
GBGH tear-down, I'm going to reload the CAD program on my laptop and start
working on the schematic diagram. Several of you have expressed interest in
reviewing and providing input on the electrical design. I think I can save
files in a *.pdf format so they can be viewed w/o having the CAD program.
