Subject: Selling My Train Collection
Hi Chris,
I'm Dave Rosenblum, and I am located in the Fredericksburg area. I am aware
of your Richmond area train club from some of your members that are active
on the O Gauge Forum web site.
I have just completed dismantling my large 500 sq. ft. O gauge layout in my
basement here, in anticipation of relocation to Florida (a.k.a. the land of
no basements). As an alternative to selling off my collection to one of the
dealers who purchase collections, I thought I would like to see if there
might be sufficient interest locally (i.e. within reasonable driving
distance) with respect to purchasing items from my inventory, thereby
avoiding hassles with shipping. In addition, I have around 24 modular-style
bench work units of various sizes that may be of interest as well. I have
attached an inventory of my train items and a second inventory of my bench
work modules to this email. As a price reference point, my train inventory
includes the catalog retail prices of the listed items. My actual selling
prices will be considerably less! I also have a lot of un-inventoried
scenery related items, such as unused grass mats, Woodland Scenics supplies,
plastic and ceramic O scale buildings, etc.
If you are amenable to passing along or forwarding my inventory lists to
your club members, that would be most appreciated. I would prefer interested
parties initially contact me via email, and we can then follow up as
appropriate via telephone.
